"Shooting Stars was a wonderful way to introduce our child to soccer"

PRE-K

Our Pre-K program, SHOOTING STARS, is designed to teach the fundamentals of soccer in a fun and educational way. Key features of the Shooting Stars Pre-K program are:

  • For players aged 3 through 5

  • No prior soccer-playing experience is necessary

  • The focus of the sessions is on ball control in a non-competitive environment

  • Sessions take place on Saturday mornings or afternoons in Upper Dublin Township and last approximately 1 hours (spring and fall)

 

Costs:

  • $90 per player for eight sessions. This includes a Shooting Stars T-shirt.

RECREATIONAL

The club's Recreational soccer program offers a fun and competitive soccer experience without the time and distance travel commitments associated with Travel soccer. Key features of the program are:

  • Separate Boys and Girls leagues that are school grade based:

    • Kindergarten

    • 1st Grade

    • 2nd-3rd Grade

    • 4th-5th Grade

    • Middle School

    • High School 

  • Fall league; Practices begin in mid-late August, league play runs September-November

  • Teams practice during the week and play on Saturdays (K through 5th Grade teams) and Sundays (Middle-High School teams)

  • Matches played in Upper Dublin Township and some games in the neighboring Townships in the older age groups
     

Costs: 

  • Regular Registration:  $155 per player, if registered before June 30th

  • Late Registration: July 1st-July 31st - a $50 late fee will apply so please register early

  • After July 31st, no guarantee that any additional players will be permitted unless a player is new to the Township or an incoming Kindergarten student

TRAVEL

The club’s Travel soccer program is for youth players seeking a higher level of commitment, training, and competition. The focus is on continuous development of technical and tactical skills and providing a positive soccer and social experience. Key features of the Travel program are:

  • For players ages 6-19; Teams are organized by gender and birth year

  • Tryout is required; If there a multiple Travel teams in an age group, then players selected from the tryout will be assigned to a team based on their skill level

  • Teams are active ~ 10 months of the year with corresponding player commitment

    • Fall: 2x per week outdoor practice, weekend travel league play (either ICSL or EDP), one or more tournaments

    • Winter: 1x per week indoor practice, weekend indoor/futsal league play

    • Spring: 2x per week outdoor practice, weekend travel league play and/or tournaments

    • Practices and Fall/Spring league home matches take place in Upper Dublin township; league away matches and tournaments typically require distance travel ranging between 30 minutes to 2 hours’ drive-time

  • All Travel teams are led by an experienced Professional coach. This model benefits players by:

    • Eliminating the inexperience and inherent bias associated with the parent coach model

    • Raising the quality of technical training and matchday coaching

    • Ensuring continuity of player development between training and its application in game-play
       

  • Costs: The financial commitment for an individual Travel player is estimated at $1,000-$1,500 for the entire playing year. A detailed cost breakdown is available in Travel Program Resources link below

PENN ALLIANCE

Penn Alliance Select (PAS) is a Premier soccer program for exceptionally committed soccer players aged U13-U19. It is specifically designed to develop High-School Varsity soccer players and provide aspiring college-bound soccer players the opportunity for exposure to college recruiters via College Showcase tournaments, elite leagues, and recruitment support services. Players from the PAS program have gone on to play college soccer at the D1, D2, and D3 levels.
